Sales Event
How often do you have these sales?
We hold two sales, one in the spring and one in the fall. They usually take place at Trinity Episcopal Church in Ambler, PA. For the Fall 2021 online sale, the pickup location is Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Rd, Ambler, PA.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept cash, credit & debit at our in-person sales. For the online sale, you will pay through the Shopify platform.
Can I sign up for your mailing list even though I don't want to consign now?
Absolutely! Just click on this link!
where do I pick up my purchased items?
Pickup will be at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Rd, Ambler, PA on September 18, 2021. You will receive additional instructions after you make a purchase.
Do i stay in my car when i pick up?
Yes, you will stay in your vehicle. We are offering curbside pickup.
Are there any parking fees?
There is NO fee to pickup your purchased items.
Consigning
What is a consignor?
A consignor is anyone who has items they wish to sell and chooses to sign up with Growing Express. Growing Express secures the facility, does the marketing, and runs the sales operation.
Who can consign their items and become a seller?
Anyone can consign their children's items with Growing Express.
How does the consignment process work with Growing Express?
You can register as a consignor with our on-line system which you will find under the register to consign tab on this website. As a consignor, you receive 65%-70% on the sales of your items with the online sale. There is a $6 consignor fee that you pay at the conclusion of the sale.
How do I become a consignor?

What items can I consign with Growing Express?
We accept anything related to babies and children. The clothing must be in top condition. Please make sure none of your items appear on the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall list. Go to the CPSC's website at http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prerel.html to see if any of the items that you are bringing to sell have been recalled.
Do I need to place my sold clothing on hangers?
No, you are not required to place your sold clothing on hangers. However, please make sure they are clean and folded.
How long should I give myself to drop off my items?
After your items are checked in and sorted, your job is complete. The time it takes depends on the number of items you sold. Remember, you are only bringing the items that sold on drop off day.
Will you take all my items?
We will inspect all items at drop-off to ensure they meet our guidelines. We want to be known for selling only the best. Buyers will have the option to not purchase an item if it's broken, damaged, missing parts, stained etc. Buyers will be encouraged to check all their purchased items when they arrive for pick up. You will be notified if any of your items were returned and refunded to the buyer. We want our shoppers to have confidence in the quality and condition of the items they are purchasing at our sale.
Who does the pricing?
You set your own price and tag only your sold own items. You receive 65%-70% of your total sales. The amount of money you can make is determined by the quantity and quality of your items and how competitively you price them.
What if I work and can't drop off my sold items?
You are welcome to have a friend drop off your items for you. We scheduled two drop off days to make it more convenient for consignors.
can I volunteer to help?
There are limited time slots to help with drop-off and curbside pickup. This is for consignors only.
How long does it take to receive my check?
Your check will be mailed to you or sent via Paypal about 1 week from the end of the sale.
Will I know which of my items have sold?
Yes, you can access our on-line tagging system to see what has sold at the sale. You will also receive a report of your sold items that you will need to bring during drop-off.
Do consignors get to shop before the public?
Yes, consignors will be able to shop early. Exact details will be forthcoming.
Do i have to print tags before my items have sold?
No, you will only print tags on the sold items, before you bring them for drop-off.
What about stuffed animals?
Please, no stuffed animals.
Can anyone sign up to help at the sale?
At this time, only consignors can sign up to help.
Do you provide childcare?
We do not provide childcare.
Do I have to participate in the half-price sale?
Absolutely not, when you enter your items on the on-line system, you will not check the "discount" box.
